Rainier Avenue Free Methodist Church is nestled in the heart of the Rainier Valley, a one-by-seven mile community of 40,000 people in southeast Seattle. Our mission is to encourage everyone in the Rainier Valley and beyond to find wholeness in Jesus Christ through:

Description: "Sanctuary" Wednesday morning prayer - Rather than having a guided prayer meeting, we will be opening up the sanctuary of the church from 7:30 -9:30 am every Wednesday for people to come freely and spend time with God in quiet prayer. The sanctuary will be set up to foster that sense of quiet and solitude, and you are invited to come spend as much or as little time as you would like. Contact: Pastor Mark Nsimbi

Community Night

Location: Fellowship Hall
Description: Community Night is a way for Rainier Avenue Church to open our doors to the neighborhood and offer time and space to build relationships outside Sunday mornings. Dinner is served at 6pm, followed by Freedom Schools tutoring for elementary students, English conversation tables, help with sorting mail and filling out forms, and additional groups and classes.
